Manfred Pretting
Head of the business advertising college since 1991, which has day classes for training advertising assistants and advertising designers, Manfred Pretting founded the Advertising Academy, a completely new type of school in 1993. Exhibition design then became an integral part of advertising management and graphic design training. Since then, 70 complete the advertising management and around 20 the graphic design courses every year to take up posts in the advertising industry.
In 1994 Manfred Pretting started professional communications courses in the Advertising Academy for people in the trade. An exhibition building class was introduced to the advertising courses, and also a separate exhibition planning module to the special course, which around 40 finish every year.
1995 saw the start of the four-semester course for advertising designers in the form of evening classes at the Advertising Academy, which some 20 professionally trained designers complete every year to join the industry.
