On 18 January I.M. Austria’s annual meeting was held in the premises of our youngest member Ifairman, a general provider in the exhibition industry with headquarters in Vienna.
After a guided tour through the company’s offices, the Action Plan for 2010 was discussed. Its main key points are:

Trade show presentations
I.M. Austria will present the association and its members at the following trade fairs:

• Euroshop 2011 (World’s leading trade show for the Exhibition Industry and Commerce) in Düsseldorf, 26/02 to 02/03/2011

• Access 2010, 04 to 05/10/2010, Hofburg Vienna, with IMA-Award 2009

• Adeventive 24/11 to 26/11/2010, Eventhotel Pyramide Vösendorf

Service Book 2011/2012 for the Exhibition, Event and Congress Industries
In the second half of this year, preparations for the new issue of the Service Book will start. It will be presented to the public during Euroshop 2011.

Extraordinary General Assembly 16 March 2010
During the last two years, I.M. Austria developed a new concept for the association, including a new website. Recently finished, it will now be completed with a rejuvenated Board, which will bring new ideas and further develop I.M. Austria according to the current market environment. The handover of the Board activities will take place at this Extraordinary General Assembly. In addition to the election of the new Board members, other possible benefits for the association members will be discussed during the meeting.

Public Relations
For this year, it is intended to extend our public relations activities e.g. by introducing each of our members in detail in the Austrian trade press.

Creating an „IMA-Community“ through internet tools e.g. Xing
aiming at opening new platforms to our members and customers (such as graduates from Universities of Applied Sciences)
