I.M. Austria Annual Meeting on 30 January 2009 in the premises of Fahnen-Gärtner GmbH at Mittersill, Salzburg
At the end of January, the members of I.M. Austria gathered for their annual meeting which was held under the motto “More co-operation by means of the new IMA website”. After a guided visit of the factory of Fahnen-Gärtner GmbH, the action plan 2009 was discussed and finalized as follows:
As in the past few years, I.M. Austria will present itself at a booth at access (Trade Fair for Congresses, Meetings and Incentives) which will be held in October 2009 in the premises of the Vienna Hofburg. The imperial framework will also be used to bestow the IMA Award 2008 on a personality for special achievements in the Austrian exhibition, event and congress industry.
It was also decided that I.M. Austria will be present with a shared stand at EuroShop 2011, the Global Retail Trade Fair which takes place every 3 years.
The collaboration with MA – Messen Austria (the Association of Austrian Exhibition Centers) shall be strengthened in the future, especially by means of a regular meeting with REC (Reed Exhibition Companies) whose CEO Johann Jungreithmair has the chair of Messen Austria for the next two years.
I.M. Austria will in 2009 continue to co-operate with educational institutions and can therefore offer its member companies access to sponsored training courses for their employees in the areas of security and engineering.
The new website www.imaustria.at, which was launched in January 2009, will in the coming months be upgraded by additional features and content. Thus, search engine entries will be continually extended, a brief information on all member companies will be published, visits will be analysed and the use of other analysis tools are currently under examination. The Member Area will also be enlarged in the near future in order to offer the member companies an attractive tool for internal and external communications.
