I.M. AustriaFirst I.M.Austria Promotion Award for René Schuber - association supported the first fair participation of a small company

A happy winner was presented the first I.M.Austria promotion award at the trade fair Vienna Tec, on Nov. 11, 2006. René Schuber, Schuber Sales Agency, received prices with a total value of over EUR 26,000, - for his first fair participation.

The I.M.Austria - Association of the Austrian Fair and Event Services – announced for the first time a promotion price for the first fair participation of a small Austrian company in February 2006. The price contains an extensive consultation, design and the free execution of the complete exhibition booth by member companies of I.M.Austria. Reed Exhibitions Vienna, the Chamber of Commerce Vienna for Advertisement and Market Communication and a3ECO - the business magazine for SMU´s followed this idea of I.M.Austria and added own prices for the winner.
A goal of the promotion price was and is to promote the marketing instrument fair as important sales promotion tool also small and medium-sized enterprises. From the submitted applications the jury of I.M.Austria selected René Schuber, sales agent of the company Franke GmbH in Austria, as price winner.
The first fair participation of Schuber Sales Agency was implemented on the Vienna Tec, Oct. 10-13 2006, at the Fair Center Vienna. René Schuber was quite satisfied with his first exhibition: interesting and promising contacts and specialized technical discussions with visitors convinced René Schuber of the marketing tool fair. Above all, Mr. Schuber emphasized the multi-functionality of fair participations - like increase high profile and image, product presentation, customer care and new contacts. Schuber plans to participate also at the next Vienna Tec.

The Promotion Price of I.M.Austria 2006 was handed over by members of the executive committee of I.M.Austria, president Leslie P.C. Zech and Roman Schiff. René Schuber received a certificate for his fair booth with a total value of EUR 20,000, -. Johann Jungreithmair, CEO of Reed Exhibitions Austria, congratulated Mr. Schuber to his prices. Reed Exhibitions donated the location as well as energy costs for his first fair booth. Jungreithmair pointed out, that new exhibitors seek favourable entrance packages for their first fair participation. For this reason, Reed will start to offer special package for new exhibitors as well as for young companies. Karl Javurek, Chamber of Commerce Vienna, highlighted the importance of the fair as marketing instrument: in no other medium it is possible to meet in only a few days with so many potential customers in face-to-face communication. Mr. Javurek presented a coupon of EUR 1,000, -, redeemable for the next fair appearance of the René Schuber. Günter Hofer, managing director of the business magazine a3 ECO, underlined the partnership aspect of this promotion price and thanked I.M.Austria for this successful co-operation. Günter Hofer sees a large potential for SMUs in professional fair participations and presented René Schuber a coupon for a 2 years subscription of a3 ECO magazine.
