SuisseEMEX’08 – Swiss Trade Fair for Marketing, Communications, Event and Promotion

At the end of August, the President of I.M.Austria, Leslie P.C. Zech, and the Secretary General Birgit Hölzl-Zech travelled to Zurich to visit SuisseEMEX’08. There, the latest trends and innovations in marketing, communications, event and promotion were presented. From 26 to 28 August 2008, more than 12,000 visitors informed themselves at the around 400 national and international exhibiting stands and enjoyed the lectures and events.

The two IMA representatives not only were able to personally get a picture of the Swiss branch, but could especially network with major Swiss institutions. Thus, they discussed possible future collaborations with Claudia Schuler, director of the Expo + Event Swiss Association, its president Kathrin Ebner and presidium members Andy Pape and Jose-Luis Guil. With the managing director of the EMEX Management GmbH, Ewa Ming, in her role as organizer of the exhibition, there was a lively exchange on the new developments in the sector in the two countries.
