I.M. Austria is the independent and impartial association-of-interest of fair and live-marketing specialists in Austria. The association has member companies from four areas: first, the field of temporary architecture and three-dimensional communication comprising booth and event construction companies, consultants and concept developers, designers and advertising architects. Secondly, the area of live-marketing, e.g. event agencies and catering. Thirdly, the area of technical services providers with multimedia companies, print services, system providers, light and sound, interpreters und translations, the specialist suppliers and so on. New is the fourth area which includes partners of I.M. Austria, among others exhibition organizers, location providers and trade magazines.

I.M. Austria as a trade association represents the interests of its members towards the outside world in full range. Furthermore, I.M. Austria actively promotes the professional development of the exhibition and live-marketing industry in Austria. This includes support in education and training as well as quality management.

I.M. Austria cooperates for the benefit of its members and their customers with numerous partners and partner associations, such as Messen Austria (the Association of Austrian Exhibition Centers). Internationally, I.M. Austria represents Austrian and European concerns within the International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services (IFES), the world umbrella association of the exhibition and event industry.

I.M. Austria externally and internally uses professional communication and a high degree of competence and quality without compromise. Amongst other measures, a special quality label has been launched. Outstanding achievements in the industry are recognized once a year with the IMA-Award.

I.M. Austria is the nationwide opinion-building and organization platform of all Austrian exhibition and live-marketing specialists.
